1. Introduction

NoBooze ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the NoBooze mobile application.

2. Data Storage

Local Storage: All your personal data, including journal entries, sobriety dates, and settings, is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.

iCloud Sync (Optional): If you enable iCloud sync, your data is securely stored in your personal Apple iCloud account. We cannot access or decrypt this data.

3. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal information (PII) like your name, email, or phone number.

Analytics & Diagnostics

We use Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports to help us improve the app. This includes:

Device type and operating system version
Crash logs
Anonymous feature usage statistics

You can opt-out of analytics tracking in the app Settings.

4. Health Data

With your explicit permission, NoBooze may read data from Apple HealthKit (e.g., sleep analysis, heart rate) to visualize your health improvements. This data:

Stays on your device
Is never sent to our servers
Is never sold to third parties

5. Your Rights

Since your data is stored on your device, you have full control:

Access/Export: You can export your data via the Settings menu (Premium feature).
Delete: Deleting the app removes all local data. You can also clear data in Settings without deleting the app.
